FROM BRO. TITUS
Church Church Services and Activities Schedule:
with our church leaders, we feel the following course of action
would be best for our church. This Sunday we will hold our
services live streaming on Facebook. I know there are some who
might not have a computer, but you can view Facebook on your
smartphone. The church has a page on Facebook and you can log on
to it. If you have any difficulty logging on or questions
contact Helen Isbell at (662) 284-5882.
Many of you have
asked about where to drop off your tithes and gifts to the
church. Giving is a form of worship and despite the current
situation, we need to continue to support the ministries of the
church. You can drop off your donations at Smith's Drug Store
(to Noble Williams) and it will be taken taken care of by our
financial officers. Please put your offerings in an envelope
with your name and address on it. Thank you so much for your
continued support. It is needed and appreciated.
this Sunday will be from 10:30 until 11:30 live on Facebook.
Please help spread the word and keep in contact with each other.
The following activities have been cancelled until further
notice: No Awana, no Wednesday Night service (For those who want
to, we are working on a way to have Wednesday Night service via
Google. We will let you know how this goes.) no Brotherhood
Breakfast, no Sunday Night service, no Sunday School, No Monday
night Bible study meetings. Again, this is until further notice.
As for VBS, Super Summer, and other events such as the Easter
Egg Hunt, our upcoming Youth Yard Sale, and others, we are going
week by week. It will be posted on our Facebook page in advance
as to whether or not these events will take place.
If all goes as
planned, on Sunday March 29, we will begin "Drive In" church.
Mitch Isbell will post all the details this upcoming week on the
church's Facebook page. I believe this will be a great
opportunity for us to outreach to people. I have had several
express to me how much they miss seeing their brothers and
sisters in Christ. I praise God for the love and care you have,
and show for each other, and for the world. Call each other,
stay in contact. Remember this has not taken God by surprise! He
is still on His throne and still in charge. Things here on Earth
may change but God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He
never changes. Do not panic. Do not worry, God is in control.
Instead praise God for his mercy and goodness! Use this as an
opportunity to outreach and spend time with your family. this a
great opportunity to show the love of Christ to others.Be the
hands and feet of Jesus. If you have any questions call me at
(662) 587-9348 or any of our deacons: Mark Conner, Paul Palmer,
Jerry Palmer, Noble Williams, Tim Baggett, William Perry, or
Harold Palmer. With God's help and by God's grace, we will get
through this, and I believe come out stronger, humbler, and more
appreciative of God's blessings than we ever have been before.
" For I know the
thought that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of
peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall
ye call upon me, and you shall go and pray unto me, and I will
hearken unto you. and ye shall see me, and find me, when ye
shall search for me with all your heart." (Jeremiah 29:11-13)
Until our next
